Driving Green for a Sustainable Future

At City & County Graphics, we are proud to unveil a fresh new look—a bold transition from our iconic orange to a vibrant green. This change isn’t just about rebranding; it’s a powerful declaration of our commitment to environmental sustainability and our vision for a greener, more responsible future.

Why Green?

Green is the colour of life, growth, and renewal. It symbolises our dedication to environmental stewardship and responsibility. By adopting green as our primary brand colour, we are aligning our identity with the core values of:

  • Sustainability
  • Environmental protection
  • Climate action
  •

However, this shift goes beyond symbolism. Our new green identity reflects a series of concrete actions we are taking to reduce our environmental footprint and operate more sustainably across all facets of our business.

Our Commitment to Net Zero

We are committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, covering the full spectrum of our operations and value chain:

  • Scope 1: Reducing direct emissions from our operations, including company vehicles and on-site facilities.
  • Scope 2: Cutting emissions from the electricity, heating, and cooling we purchase.
  • Scope 3: Addressing emissions across our entire value chain—from suppliers and transportation to the full lifecycle of the products we design and produce.

Science-Based Targets

Our Net Zero targets are grounded in rigorous science and aligned with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This globally recognised framework ensures our goals are consistent with limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

Here’s what this commitment means:

Near-Term Targets: We’ve set specific goals to reduce emissions over the next 5 to 10 years.

Long-Term Targets: We are committed to achieving full Net Zero status by 2050.

These targets ensure that our actions are not only credible and measurable but also aligned with international climate standards.

Why This Matters

1. Customers Demand Sustainability

Research shows that the majority of consumers prefer to buy from companies that demonstrate environmental responsibility. By choosing City & County Graphics, our customers can trust they are partnering with a company that prioritises sustainability.

2. Regulatory Compliance

Governments worldwide are enacting stricter environmental regulations. By adopting sustainable practices now, we aim to stay ahead of these changes and ensure compliance with emerging standards.

3. It’s the Right Thing to Do

Beyond business, we have a moral obligation to future generations. Our efforts today will help leave the planet better than we found it.

Actions We Are Taking

  • Our new green logo is part of a larger sustainability strategy designed to make a meaningful impact:
  • 1. Optimising Our Supply Chain: We are partnering with vendors who share our commitment to sustainability and reducing emissions throughout the lifecycle of our products.
  • 2. Investing in Energy-Efficient Technologies: We are implementing energy-saving technologies in our operations to significantly reduce our energy consumption and carbon footprint.
  • 3. Using Eco-Friendly Materials: Our designs now incorporate environmentally friendly materials, and we are exploring innovative ways to minimise waste.
  • 4. Engaging in Carbon Offset Programs: For any emissions we cannot eliminate, we are investing in carbon offset projects, such as reforestation and renewable energy initiatives.

Measuring Our Progress

Transparency is key to accountability. To track and share our progress, we will publish regular sustainability reports that include:

Emission reductions achieved.

Energy and resource savings.

Innovations in sustainable design and production.

Partnerships and community initiatives supporting environmental goals.

This report will ensure our clients, partners, and stakeholders can see our progress and hold us accountable for delivering on our commitments.

A New Era for City & County Graphics

Switching to green is a bold move, but it’s the right one. It marks the beginning of a new era where sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.

We are excited to embark on this journey and look forward to partnering with you—our clients, employees, and suppliers —to build a future where business success goes hand in hand with environmental responsibility.

Thank you for your continued support as we take this important step forward. Together, we can make a difference.
